Golden boy

My brother Al is weird
But not all was it appeared
Even from a young age
He was put on a golden stage
No violence no shouting
All his words no doubting
He demanded they gave in
A spoilt boy and a devilish grin
He was the chosen one
And I was none
A cast off is the best I’d get
Followed by a dirty threat
He was allowed his freedom
Because he had autism
I was his spare
They couldn’t even bare
The wrapped him on cotton wool
He floated through childhood
Acted like he had a knighthood
Reality and him never met
I was their only regret
They locked me out the picture
So he can be a fixture
While he buried his head in books
The made me the crook
His only friend a gamer boy
Driven there to enjoy
Some company or to be social
Friend paid to be Nobel
They were desperate for him to be normal
They made his ego immortal
Off he went to boarding school
Gave them confidence to be cruel
He went with a banner of shame
That they could frame
As a master of intelligence
Meanwhile they were showing nothing but negligence
Every weekend they picked him up
And listened to his rubbish none stop
They massaged his ego
Till it couldn’t fit in the depot
He was their pride
I was their deranged child
Every opportunity they splashed the cash
Only making him more trash
Holidays, clothes, games and more
Meanwhile I slept on the floor
Never a day in his life has he had to graft
As our parents were his permanent staff
They blew smoke up has backside
To the point you can only roll your eyes
This man child can never be wrong
He gets louder to try and belong
His arrogance is so loud and profound
That one day it will make him drown
He has had no consequence for his action
His ego still gives him satisfaction
Now both parents have passed away
Putting his attitude and personality on display
I resent the differences in the way we were treated
I feel he cheated his way through his life so far
But thank you god we don’t see eye to eye
