Going Out To Dinner

Meeting our friends for dinner (Hamlet and Gertrude) "Honey, do I look fat in this dress" Me thinking, (how do I answer that question) "Why no dear you look great" "Okay, I will put on my blue dress" "How does my makeup look?" "It’s perfect" "Okay, I will change my lipstick" "Do these shoes look okay with this dress" "They match your purse" "Now I have to change my shoes and purse" "We are going to be late dear" "Now you're saying it’s my fault we will be late It’s your fault you have no idea what looks good" Me thinking (Why in the heck did she ask me then) "You are right dear can we just get going" "Okay just give me 15 more minutes" Me thinking, (don’t you mean 30 more minutes) "All of this just to go to McDonald's" Contest: Dialogue Proficiency Sponsored by: Matt Caliri Date Created: 11/28/2022
