Going out the reason

I struggle to eat
The latter days
Sleep’s a feat
Move, Doc says

No energy, I feel
The end, nigh?
My fate to seal
Mindless, I sigh

Progeny, trouble me
Questions the same
Text messages to see
Their wishes to tame

The end of a season
To honor the last lap
Going out, the reason
Journey’s end, to cap
