Going Insane

are you affraid of the dark ?

if you look outside what do you see ?
you'll see the sky's are blue ... the sun shining down on you

Now close your eyes ... what do you hear ?
do you hear the children laughing and crying ...
the gunshots and the sirens ...
breaking the silence ...

does it bring you joy ... or do you start to fear

now ... what do you feel ?
can you feel the cold makes the hairs on your back
stand up straight ... its like danger is near
you drop a tear ... cuz you didn't see it coming
the sorrow and the pain , its just too much to gain
as for the world of today ...it just remains the same
so nothing is new ...
the violence & poverty still running the game

and we can do nothing but sit back and watch
how we all go insane
