Going Home Part 1

this airport is so lonely everyone sits alone reading magazines passing time until the plane arrives to take them away me...? i'm going home where day to day monotony and fields of endless white circle around in all visible directions maybe i'll find someone new someone warm but i can't hold my breath everyone keeps reading except for a girl w/ big black rings around her eyes hair up in a bun she tries to smile but it's full of pain maybe even regret i don't know her i may never know her and there's a guy wearing nice cloths and a grandfather clock clasp tightly around a wrist his hand holds his face covering his eyes what is it he hides from the world? or what does he not want to see? i notice the no smoking sign and it looks good but even if i could i no longer have a pack smoked them all while walking side by side w/ her past cars and trees past moon and stars past then and now now, i am left w/ just the want this airport is so lonely everyone sits alone
