Going Home

I have roamed very far,
so far the only thing we can see at the same
time are the stars;
I wish for more adventure & you
wish me to be home -
we both know that is where my heart truly belongs.
I am drunk in travel & lost in the sun,
though my eyes are set in the horizon &
my legs carry me off farther to run.
I am sure my heart sings an everlasting,
never-fading song...singing...
home - home as the destination is never wrong.
