Going Back Home

So much time to be alone, so much time to reflect,
Hearing the silence above the noise, you really tend to forget,
Of how good it felt to have it, the memories all come back,
You remember the comfort you had for so long before the chaos went into effect,
Your heart can breathe normal once again, details become clear,
When chaos had its way with you, your life was filled with fear,
You realize what was missing, and what cluttered your heart and mind,
And you can hear the voice of God speaking, showing you the course of your life,
Guiding you every step of the way, bringing your heart back home,
Shifting your focus back to where it belongs,
Comforting your soul ??

I know you're right.. this trip away for a while helped me to really see myself, and my heart with God.. and u know all of sudden I could write again, it just pours out of me, and I missed being able to write my heart out again. I still have some battles back home, but now I'm trusting God more than myself.. and that was my mistake.
