Going Away
Grief hurls sad pains in sudden change;
One drowning tryst that swiftly kills;
Instant refrain of gripping strange;
No more to kiss with sensuous thrill;
Gloom sets the stage for swirling tears.
Awkward this feel of stormy rain;
Wet teary page that fling harsh fear;
Abrupt goodwill attends grim pain;
Yes death is here with profound charm.
Grim reaper knows just what to do;
Instant my dear the sudden farm;
Flame of life flows now out of you...
Tell in sure tale the last array;
Swansong and ale going away.
