God's Speed
The speed of sound, the speed of light
A prayer caught up on a Heavenly flight.
The speed of light, the speed of sound,
The love that of the Lord's renowned.
In Bethlehem, the love of God,
To seek, the wise men and sheppard's trod.
The love of God on Calvary hung,
He bled and died for the old and young.
The speed of love, that God imparts,
He wants to live inside our hearts.
The speed of light, His love shines in,
To free mankind from all their sins.
The speed of sound, a prayer gone up,
Because he drank our bitter cup.
The speed of prayer, God will forgive,
Accept Him in, so you can live.
The speed of sound, the speed of light,
Your prayer's caught up on a heavenly flight.
