God's Songs

As a child I loved to sing And play piano too I loved to sing the hymns The old ones and the new Then Southern Gospel came along And oh how sweet the sound I started traveling on a bus I've seen so many town I'd see the people stand each night To praise and clap their hands You could really feel his presence The feeling was so grand As I look back upon those days Where many souls were won I'm thankful that the Lord chose me And let me sing God's songs
