God's Riddle

Has history's lessons not taught us
That hell is beneath us
The heavens above us
and placed man in the middle
To ponder God's Riddle

Very philosophic Quintrain, Chris. Have you entered it in Brian's contest, yet? Good luck. The sentiments in this poem create a nice visual of man purpose and God's expectations. Nice! Lovingly, Dane

That is the truth. Men greater than us have pondered this one and have come up with some good answers. Keep writing. Sara

Looking around at the state of world affairs, I would say we are still trying to learn from history. I really like the way you "placed man in the middle" of heaven and hell. Now, which direction we take is up to each individual. Very profound, Christopher! Love, Carolyn
