God's Rest
Heaven will be worth it all
With all its jewels rare.
All the toils and cares of this life
Will be unknown up there.
Gates of pearl and streets of gold
Adorn that Holy Place.
God’s own Son will be the light,
And sorrow will be erased.
Nothing unclean can enter there.
Only those who are free from sin.
Oh, what joy awaits me there,
When into His rest I have entered in.
