Gods Reason

Gods Reason

If God has made me for a reason
The point of this I have yet to find
As some events have not been kind
And pray upon my feeble mind

Like balding hair
And crooked teeth
That sit above my portly belly
And weigh upon my knocking knees
And swollen feet

So tattoo my heart
With my unassuming features
That the eye cannot see
Kept under the surface

Treasures have to be mined
Just like human kind

Scratch under the surface
And what you will find
Is the reason and purpose

That every landscape changes
Throughout the ages

While what's beneath
Lies in state
Awaiting its Mate
To fulfill its purpose
