God's Presence
God’s Presence,
like a wave crashing over me,
is all consuming,
and all revealing,
Christ is my mirror,
in a way,
He shows me,
myself,
without him,
my sin,
but steps out of the mirror,
into the human world,
as a humble servant of God,
and takes all my sin away,
and gives me,
his righteousness,
and,
his peace,
not of this world.
God’s Presence,
like a passion running through my veins,
shows me,
who I am,
saved by Him,
dwelling within me,
redeemed,
made clean by his blood.
Seen not as,
I used to be,
a sinner,
hopelessly hell-bound,
lonely lost,
but as I am now,
a beloved child of God,
a new creation,
guaranteed to live with Him for eternity!
