Gods Plan for Me

I have retired
It was not what I thought I would ever do
I used to say “I will be taken out in a body bag when I am 92.”
That is what I thought would happen.

God heard this and laughed.
Okay, little girl, he said, “you are not in charge. I am.”
He made me so ill I took twelve sick days in Jan and Feb.
I have never taken twelve sick days in one year in my life

I started feeling better
So I said to myself “You could substitute teach next year.”
God laughed and made me so ill
I had to take nine more sick days.

He must have something planned for me.
I always go into His plans kicking, yelling and screaming.
Even though they are always better than any of my plans.
