God's Painting
As dawn gently breaks
Color paints the sky
The sun breaks the horizon
Beauty fills my eye
All day long
God's creation I see
A wonderful gift
He bestows to me
As dusk falls o'er the land
Heavenward I gaze
The sun sinks low
The sky is ablaze
Each and every day
A masterpiece I view
The beauty which surrounds me
It is a work of art so true
A glorious painting for me
From the Father above
Created by His hand
Colored with His love
