Gods of Slumber Land

Please entrap in dreamy quick sands
Suspend me in animated pleasure
For another hour or two of leisure
Oh! God I wish her to be with me
For me to feel to behold and see
I don’t wish to go or her to leave me
So I plead with you to keep me and let me be
Oh! Her sweet graceful face slowly fades
My blinking eyes and memory I pray for no degrades
Oh I wish to embrace her now
And my heart yearns for her and wants her somehow
…..implore you my love please don’t go
Do not leave me I can’t bear another blow
I want you to be with ne
And fill my moments with passion and glee
So gods of slumber land I pray to thee
Please make me to sleep for free
So as for me to sleep on ever and ever
And be with my sweetheart and away from her never
So dear don’t fade away and hold on to me
Don’t linger away from me
Please be around in the morning dear
So that it’s a dream no more that I wonder
And if the universe conspires with my dreams
I know how beautiful my life would seem
I will sleep on and on
For your sake after my breath has gone
And will be happy in my dreams
Also would be content so my inner self screams.
