God's Miracle
God's miracles appear when you least expect them,
Then you are always thankful.
When i retired I had years of miracles,
I wrote two books, "Living with God" and the "Sounds of Christmas".
I gave copies to my relatives and friends,
Chosen for the William Shakespeare Award.
I received a beautiful trophy and qualified for two more,
I received many Editor's choice Awards for my poems.
My poems were chosen to appear in a book,
A copy was to appear in the American Library of Congress.
I was honored to have a Poetry and Art Exhibit,
This was photographed and appeared in the senior's Calendar and magazine.
I like playing the piano and was chosen to play the piano for the senior's birthdays and teas.
They enjoyed that and I found that satisfying.
I sang with the local church and appeared in the church magazine.,
I made many friends and acquaintances to praise God.
i sang an Elvis Presley song"Wise men say" to the dinning-hall,
Received beautiful applause, good to be appreciated.
