God's Love Remains the Same

If you were never to change God’s love would stay the same As in the day He sent His son To bare the sins of this world To be reunited once again as it was in the day Where Adam and Eve roamed happily In the garden and in God’s presence They spent their days If you were never to change God’s love would stay the same Friendship you would gain If only you came To accept His love was poured out in blood Through His son whom He dearly loved If you were never to change God’s love would stay the same For the sacrifice was made That you would live free without shame Entering the throne room of the King As a child of the most high He receives you in If you were never to change God’s love would stay the same For he is the same today as he was yesterday My hope as I pray Is you will make the change To come and see, know and believe God’s love is for you as much as it is for me. He is waiting, come sit on His knee Be embrace and comforted For His love is as wide and as deep as the sea
