God's Living Miracle His Name Is Brennan

Only yesterday it seems Brennan was born,
However, today I am so very torn;
That night he pitched a very good game,
Three hours later, he was shot in the head,
Oh what a shame;
His life flashed before his very eyes,
No more baseball just prayers and cries.

When I heard the news Docs said he would die,
I threw my hands up and started to cry;
And then it hit me like a stream of lightening,
The thought of him dying was so very frightening;
I cried out don't take my only son,
Spare his life God and take the gun,
The fight for life he has won!

Today he is alive, with smiles and such spirit,
My son is so amazing I really feel it;
I want the world to know, this is his new beginning,
Meet God's living miracle his name is Brennan!
