Notes About The Poem

God’s Light
The tiniest leaf, with veins
small and tender – little lines
writing a story of gentle light,
green as the music, who plays
softly rising on a quiet sky
the wonder of a trembling dew
erasing the night,
stirring the dawn with laughter
felt by the stars and moon,
a whisper of grace
pouring from the realms
of heaven, where I feel His love
embracing my spirit,
breathing life into my veins,
the tiniest leaf, with graceful veins
hidden among the forest’s hues
a muse, like lavender halos
softly blazing on the surface of a wind
storming through the oaks, the pines
erasing the gray wisps of light
softly playing in silhouettes,
embracing the spirit with a glorious gift…
the leaf, lovely as the rose
soft and sultry,
rippling with stories
bound by praise
in the woodsy tempos
weathering the maze
between the oaks and pines,
beneath the mossy carpet
earth’s gentle smile
trembling with hesitant breath,
breathing in the light
nature’s insight
soft and alive
listening to all that’s right
leaf’s still breath
always inspiring, always
inviting, always
spirit’s light
gentle light
God’s light
