God's Face

The mountains are so majestic
They stand so great and tall
The oceans demand attention
As the waves begin to fall

The trees can reach toward Heaven
As they stand so tall and proud
The thunder proclaims it's power
As it rumbles from cloud to cloud

The flowers adorned in beauty
As their fragrance fills the air
The moon stands is silence
As it lends it's mournful stare

The sun wakes up the morning
To announce another day
The stars reflect the moonlight
To guide us on our way

For all of God's Creation
Has it's beauty on display
But we're the only thing He made
That shall see His Face someday

Indeed, only man may one day see the face of God, but His handiwork can be found all around us as you describe so well in this excellent rhyme, Larry. Great work! And be sure to check out Barbara Gorelick's limerick about your mother-in-law's face resembling the sphinx head on Mars. You're in for a great laugh, my friend. Love, Carolyn

The gospel says in Romans 1 that the invisible power of God is to be seen in the things are made. A great lyrical write, a masterpiece of faith
