:::Gods Do Not Hide:::

Gods don’t hide, so where can they dwell
    Yonder, out of sight, down the wishing well
   In deep ridges of our brains, under fontanels
  The search delves inward, to nuclei within cells

      Gods don’t hide, they’re ethereally clear
    Invisible to the eye, yet whisper in our ear
   Can’t be sure, if that’s a conscience we hear
  Inner voices are important, helps to calm fear

     Gods don’t hide, remain loved and unseen
    In a temple behind, the frankincense screen
   On bloody battlefields, we pray they intervene
  Fighting the good fight, with guns and figurines

     No Gods don’t hide, but what would I know
    An agnostic won’t help, ease your life’s woe’s
   My deliverance may come, if randomness goes
  I’m ignorant on the fence, observing voids grow

                   Life has many mysteries
                 mankind makes tough calls
               This mind failing to penetrate
             let alone crack omnipotent walls

I understand what you’re saying Christopher, I keep asking and searching, any order will do so long as I get some answers

Absolutely love this David Sir The reason because like the Morecambe & Wise Previn sketch You are asking all the right questions just in the wrong order it you know what I mean

Again neither am I but like you If they do exist Where are they and why are they hiding Because I selfishly more than anyone else Could do with and am in need of god help But like you said where is god

I’m not saying gods don’t exist Christopher just that I don’t understand where they are, if they do, no more than I can scientifically understand eternity, yet here we all are nonetheless, ah intelligence again, cheers David

Thank you Bill, I just write from my own pov, which may seem bleak at times, I really know nothing for sure, so I cannot and do not dismiss what others believe, hope you have a good weekend too, cheers David

They say one day the great mysteries will be revealed to us whether scientific or spiritual, but nobody can lay claim to either theory.. Always found it interesting that Darwin and Hawkins when stumped for answers always put it down to the miraculous. Greetings from Majorca, hope alls well in Soup Creek. Tom

Lucky you Tom, I’ve been out the west of Ireland for a few days, weather is great, so only popping in and out of soup creek, all seems quite on the surface anyway lol, Whatever brings comfort and solace to one’s life cannot be a bad thing, main thing is not to lose hope, cheers David

I am with you. Gods don't hide. Maybe they are invisible, so they can't really hide. haha. Who the heck knows. I used to be a bit of an agnostic in my youth. Somehow I have ended up believing for sure in the afterlife. I guess it's all those shows I watch on Near Death Experiences, etc.

I’m pretty convinced Andrea by challenging everything I know, both spiritually and scientifically there is definitely more to reality than life and death, near death experiences are strange in that not everybody that survives gets them, the search goes on, cheers David

Thank you Milton, my poem is purely what this agnostic does or does not see, but people with their own faith, will see things different, and quiet rightly too, as I alluded to in my poem I know nothing, cheers David
