God's Appreciation
I rise in the early morning,
Days of senior awareness,
The walk that becomes more difficult,
Steady and strong,
Fashions that defy conventional standards,
Distance between those you care about and love,
To be reunited on very special days,
Blessings that you learn to appreciate,
To continue to learn and comprehend,
The beauty of the seasons,
The blessings of a friend,
Talents at a senior level,
Staying forever young.
