God's Angels
This room is very crowded
There is not one inch of space.
For the angels of the Lord
Are camped out in this place.
I know you cannot see them,
But be assured they are here.
If you listen very closely,
You’ll hear a rustle in your ear.
For one of God’s precious children
Is going home from this very room.
I don’t know how long it will be,
But I know it will be very soon.
The Lord, Himself, has sent them
To bear his precious child home.
What a comfort it is to know they’re here,
And that we are not alone.
