Notes About The Poem

Goddess of the Nile

The Nile drifts restlessly in fresh woodland
Babbling over rocks and marbled edges…
Like a goddess in search of her old legends.

Ooooh I liked where you took us with this, Nette. "old legends" for "dreams" ... most creative. Hope this does well.

Darn creative approach on the topic with this remarkable poem. I am reminded of Cleopatra trying to relive her famed stature.

You bring back the glory of the Nile River, personified and accentuated with her many tales! Brilliant way of doing the theme!
