Goddess of Light

Patience left me at supper, Fools entered my head Poison's in a cup, a slow and deadly thing to get Goddess of light surrounds The table with glowing eye On dwarf as horse she mounts Gives me time for one last cry Then she speaks with fierce command I listen up in silent fear She says the end is close at hand Can I hear it coming near? "Why?" I ask in trembling voice A smile appears on face of light "You left us little choice, Since you are in full command of every line you write." "You've reached the limit any man may ever reach No chance for us to spoil your way Nothing left for us to teach." That is what I heard her say. I gulped, and laughed, and died Right there at the table. During supper, during night. Never knew I'm able.
