God Sees Me

I’m not a freak,
I’m simply unique.
I dare to be different,
and this causes malcontent.

I like the way I am,
even though you don’t understand.
I like to do things my own way,
and this causes dismay.

I choose how I believe,
as I have no guilt to relieve.
I give thanks in my own way,
and I don’t follow your way.

You claim that I sin,
because I don’t accept your doctrine.
I know what’s right and wrong,
and to God I do belong.

I know God sees me,
as I am meant to be.

Either your imagination is way out there wonderful, or you have not found your tribe yet. Maybe you will find it here.

Some individuals are so heavenly-minded they are no earthly-good.
