God Saves

Forty days I lie awake,
Forty days at sea.
I was an outcast,
And that's why God loved me.
Forty days I sat there,
Lonely as can be
For I was an outcast
And that's why God saved me.

The words focuse the reader to the fact that sometimes the most simple and basic thoughts define the subject matter best. Emile.
