God Particles

without the insignificant ~ there'd never be a significance without the insubstantial ~ there'd never be anything of substance without you me and our puny atoms ~ this cosmos would not be whole By David Kavanagh According to Scientific American There are the same number of atoms in the observable universe as there always have been! Do the math, you are part of the sum that makes eternity! You always have been and always will be! Where it all came from #your answer is as good as mine#

Right up my atomic alley, and my ism. Superb inking, my thought filled friend, am a fan of your particles’ articles. xomo

I really have to explore the atomic and beyond into the quanta, is it infinite inwards as as well as outwards, I have some abstract theories, and try put them into my poems, thanks so much for all your unique comments today, cheers David

ahhh delicious meandering into one of my favorites....where did the Big Bang come from where space and time do not exist...Einstein did not like the Big Bang, a steady-state kind of guy, did not like quantum entanglement either....so space and time came into existence in the Big Bang, yet it does not exist in the quantum world..what stands outside, whose presence remains the mystery....suns which answer the physical...but not the existence we cannot measure...great thought provoking lines David

Thank you Tim, Einstein indeed did not like spooky behaviour yet his theories allow for it, he once called his cosmological constant (Lambda) his greatest ever mistake, now some scientists believe it may inadvertently have predicted dark energy, or antigravity, the mind boggles, but I do believe our particles are part of eternity, always were, and always will be, cheers David

Three intelligent monokus, all contrast with each other. And all very specific. So we can add that there is evil but also good.

Thank you Victor, If we think of good and evil in terms of matter and antimatter, there is somehow more matter around that makes us and the universe possible, really there should be an equal amount of both, and it would’ve annihilated each other in the Big Bang creating nothing, where did the surplus matter come from, no one really knows, perhaps a bit like why more good than evil exists in the world, otherwise we’d probably have annihilated each other by now, Cheers David

It’s enough to make your head hurt, David. I must confess to not being too strict with myself over the 17 syllable count in monokus… you’ve managed three straight off. Nicely done. Terry

It can do Terry, but as I was saying to John below this is abstract thought, and my attempt to define it in concretism, I just enjoy the 17 syllable challenge, and sometimes (not all the time) you can actually serendipitously stumble on a more meaningful Monoku than you intended, don’t mind me I’m a head wrecker I know lol, cheers David

If as they say "matter can neither be created nor destroyed" I often wonder "what's the matter with us?".. sorry, this is way to deep for a Tuesday afternoon.

Don’t worry John you’re almost there, matter just changes from energy to matter and back again over eternity, information cannot be destroyed either, you’re part of the whole including your consciousness and always will be, but must be thought about abstractly to fully grasp the implications, maybe by Friday the depth will surface, cheers David

Mind boggling stuff David, if the alleged big bang actually happened then surely it would have created billions of new atoms and still is as far as I know, then again I'm not a scientist lol. Tom

Ah yes the Big Bang Tom, let’s say everything came from its energy, the bosons leptons and quarks, or the God particles, they’re what built the atoms, I just used the word atoms to simplify what we’re made of, I believe the inescapable fact is whatever the sum that came out of the Big Bang is still here, no more no less including what’s inside of us, making us a conscious part of eternity, but like I said I don’t know where it came from, but come from somewhere it did? cheers David
