God On My Mat

Felt God on my mat today
Nothing special, just knew it was there
I was lighter, calm, I could sense
All that was good in the world

I stayed there motionless to receive
Silence with peace to release
A distant hum, subtle, underground
Pin drop of love to last eternity

Smiled at the special sensation
A memory triggered by quiet calm
Nothing like that they fight over
No association, part or clan

I will try and hold on for a while
To the feeling of God on my mat
As I bend to work myself loose
The friend forever will be there
