God Loving Questions

Sacraments are mysteries, bread and wine
Praying to God for the love of the Devine
Asking many questions, challenge is a dare
Where life does take us, does he really care

Years and years of stories, prophets in mind
Searching for the righteous and for the kind
Promises of illness cured, demons cast away
All to praise the good word on a good day

Hesitant to stop to think, not keen to doubt
Tossing and turning, lessons taught us nowt
Hope, love and peace, treasures on the way
Settle down quietly, take some time to pray

God is real. God does care about each and every one of us. Finding him is a blessing. This poem helped me to remember that. Thank you for sharing.
