God Knew I Needed Someone
God knew I needed someone
to show me of His love
someone who lived her life
each day with guidance from above
God knew I needed someone
whose faith would always shine
whose gentle ways and warm advice
would mold me over time
God knew I needed someone
to stay right by my side
someone to say when times were bad
the good Lord will provide
God knew I needed someone
whose love was always true
and you became that someone
the day God gave me you
