God Isn'T Mad At You

God Isn't Mad At You

From the rolling hills of the plains of Colorado
To the sea to shining sea
We can trust in Jesus & sing a sweet homily
It's not based whether were good enough cause we all fall to the extreme

Shadows block the promises out of mere darkness people scream
Through light with the love sent from heaven up above
Sullen price to a cost that was for you & me
Let us humbly bow the knee

God isn't mad at you no matter what you have done
Wearing great chains on your back with a heart that's often numb
We have built great pyramids in the sky to sing a nice tune you see
God's love for you is the great eternal constant amidst the insecurities

When you sin just turn to him then he will wipe the slate clean
As you sit then set your case in a world that is mean
The current is rolling from the ocean type of scene
Satan's ploy is for you to enjoy earth's pleasure for a season

Having to pay the ultimate price without having any reason
The choice is yours whether we win or lose
Now which pathway in this life will you be willing to chose
For he's not a man that he should lie just turn to Jesus in the sky

My one last plea is from me to you go run to God all other paths are through
