God Is Working To Subtly Lift Him
lost traveling quite rapidly downstream
he has released all but one final dream
hope has been overshadowed by despair
rejuvenation is beyond repair?
empathetic earth angel extends bridge
leans over and pulls him up to the ridge
depression is not easily sated
his emotions terribly inflated
he is surely sad and fully adrift
of course God is working to subtly lift
sweet angel with her extremely wise tools
breaks down his barriers, rewrites his rules
she nurtures him back to a healthy way
imagination remembers to play
