God Is There For Me
There is the stillness in utter silence,
It is then that I find peace.
The hustle and bustle of everyday life;
All too often drowns out your voice.
But in the quiet I feel your presence
And hear you.
Sometimes you speak of your love for me or
Provide your perfect knowledge in the form of advice.
In the times I may not hear your words,
I can still feel those wonderful and loving arms
Holding me close like no other, dear Father.
You are the greatest and only source of inspiration,
For without you, I am nothing!
In the face of adversity or in the smoothest of situations;
You are there for me.
You never condemn me for my faults or mistakes,
You only keep loving me more and more with each passing day.
Thank you God for being my biggest supporter,
And my friend.
