God Is Our Strength
God is our strength* and soul’s salvation
With His sacrifice by His blood for our redemption
…Rescuing us from sin’s wages as well as hell’s affliction
Assuring our forgiveness along His pardon’s action!
God is our strength and blessings’ source
With His grace of great force
…Providing for us in our daily course
Meeting our needs from His harvest resource!
God is our strength and day’s starter
With His love as our caring Father
Always waking us, feeling better
Directing our ways thru our fellowship together!
God is our strength and supply’s store
With His generosity from His riches’ core
…Showering us His goodness to the fore
Bringing our delight toward His generosity's shore!
God is our strength and faith’s stability
With His might of supreme authority
…Leading us to do His will midst any difficulty
Increasing our trust against doubts and uncertainty!
God is our strength and satisfaction’s seal
With His abundance we experience fully in every meal
…Replenishing us by His fruitfulness’ deal
Multiplying our service-diligence when to Him we humbly kneel!
God is our strength and peacefulness’ sufficiency
With His joy of divine comfort-fervency
…Cheering us despite gloom of despondency
Gladdening our hearts with His caring intimacy!
