"Thou hast given him (humankind) dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the sea." Psalm 8:6,7,8 _ The Bible To those who think God is hiding you don't know a thing, for he has been waiting for you to call for him in prayer; it does not have to be a traditional way- it can be simple, you can just speak to him like you would a friend, a father. Some people ask why does God let bad things happen, and I will explain about this- though you may disagree; God gave dominion over earth and all creatures to humankind, so, what humankind does with that power is by human hands. When wars happen God weeps with us and welcomes the dead, and when disease and fathom strike God is helpless to help; but he is there for us, to comfort and console in our sadness, when a loved one goes up above, he opens the gates wide. I know God is not hiding from me for he is close if I need him, he holds my hand when I am afraid standing beside me, and if I am too weak to walk he carries me in his arms, so do not think God is hiding from you, just call his name. __________________ August 26, 2022 Poetry/Verse/God Is Not Hiding Copyright Protected, ID 08-1483-521-26 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Written for the Premiere contest, Where Is God Hiding sponsor, Unseeking Seeker, Judged 08/26/2022

Yes, sweet Constance, he consoles us. Sometimes miracles happen but it seems to have a purpose rather than us having our way. God is good. He suffered and died for our sins and is ready to welcome us when we leave this earth. Very well done! Hugs ~ Kim
