"god Is My Shelter"

Since I do not relish spending time
with sails aloft
in Satan's choppy waters.
I will seek to lay anchor,
in the stillness
of God's sheltered cove.
As one who knows
the worth of prayer,
I choose to use each calm day,
in preparation for life's storm
that invariably will follow.

Now this is a very special write. Reminded me somewhat of what I've been feeling since yesterday and what I'll feel all my life. You're right about not wasting time. Loved the last three lines. God bless you! Chitra
