Just like God, love gives
More than a hope – love lives!
Love gives joy, passionate pleasure
Feelings so wonderful, beyond measure
Just like God, love sighs
Unending blessings, without disguise
Love exhales admiration, sensations
Bliss within the heart, heaven’s creations
Just like God, love sings
Psalms of the spirit, on heavenly wings
Love lights up dreams, inspires
Hearts to believe, the soul admires
Just like God, love dances
Always providing, so many second chances
Love warms the desires, gently
Coloring lives in stardust yearnings, intently
Just like God, love stirs
Feelings so familiar, wonder that occurs
Love silences every worry, all fear
Quieting the darkness that is so severe
Just like God, love beguiles
Grace is His champion, winning smiles
Love grieves a lack of belief
Celebrates fervently when doubt is brief
Just like God, love rains
Pouring out serenity, inspiration sustains
Love grows more glorious
With each passing day, always victorious
Just like God, love abides
Releasing souls from sorrow, it provides
Love that is like a fire, blazing
Caressing the spirit who is praising
Just like God, love assures
Even in the darkness, it endures
Love like this answers prayers
With His grace, our hearts - He prepares
Just like God, love instills
Kindness in the heart He fills
Love glistening with light
Glowing like the stars at night
Just like God, love guides
Bringing hearts together, never divides
Love lifts the spirit to new heights
Homeward, toward heaven, He invites
Just like God, love restores
He went to the cross to make love yours
Love this amazing is like the Son
Satisfying, soothing… this love has only just begun!
1 John 4:16-17 (KJV) 16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
