God Is King Over All The World - Psalm 47
God loves to see you shouting
especially with songs of joy
learn to fear the Lord on high
clap your hands all people cry
The Lord subdues our enemies
keeping them under our feet
we are the heritage of His choice
our God loves us being in His fleet
Singing praises to our God
every moment in every day
for we worship the eternal king
in His presence, we wish to stay
Hail the king in all the earth
sing the Psalms for His pleasure
on His holy throne, God sits alone
awaiting to tell us we're His treasure
Gathering together as God's people
the God of Abraham is our source
His strength and power overcome
proving His divine life-giving force
(Psalm 47 (ESV)
Clap your hands, all peoples!
Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared,
a great king over all the earth.
He subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
He chose our heritage for us,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves.
God has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
sing praises with a psalm!
God reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!)
