God Is Everywhere
God is everywhere
God is everywhere – so, do not try to find him
He was in that first breath - you took this morning
That first step you took – when you got out of bed-
He was in that cup of coffee
That plate of bacon and eggs
In the first word, you spoke-
So, do not try to find him-
He was there when you went-
Through the storm
Through the rain
Through the fire
Through pain
He was there - and you did not have to try to find him- because God is everywhere all the time-
You do not have to move mountains – nor- climb the highest tree.
You do not have to swim from shore to shore - look out a window – nor- beg or plead for him to come – because God is everywhere-
God is already here—
Just look within yourself—and he will appear-
On Easter morning, His son, Jesus, rose from the dead
Jesus rose to proclaim, that He above all will lead you home
He asked you to walk in His father’s footsteps, to hold His hand, to remember He will always be nearby-
He will be in your talk - in your walk-in your smile-
In the love, you share - so you do not have to find God- because- he is everywhere-
Now, where is God?
God is everywhere- you do not have to try to find him
Look deep within yourself and He will hear
God is everywhere- there is no need to fear
Call his name as you pray- and He will answer
And all things unseen will become clear.
Put your worries in His hands- and watch Him bless your face- for-
God is everywhere- God is everywhere
God is everywhere-
