God In the Form of a Man

God in the form of a Man

The world was in the dark of ignorance

In the devil's hands it was a land of violence

Poverty played its role with it’s might

Then He decided to shower His grace

He came down as a man to establish peace

He called his mother Amma as His first word

not to relieve his hunger but of this world

He learnt everything not for self but for our world

He left His bonds not for him but for us

The earth heaped blessings on him and he on us

He broke all rites and came down to all

for that, He took everything with a smile

'Dheivam manusha rupenam':

Lord Shankar in the form of a man.
