God I know You see me
As I write this prayer to You
Please guide us on our journey
In everything we say and do
Help us to remember
That for us You're always here
To help us with the paths we take
To overcome our doubt and fear
Help us with our selfishness
Have moments of lucidity
To be aware our egomania
And actions of stupidity
Help us in the U.S.A.
To see that action gets it done
That we are all responsible
Not just the elected one
Help us see we're not just here,
For ourselves, but for us all
Help us safely to the ground
To stop this needless fall
God, I pray You help us
Correct all we can that's wrong
Help us work together
To help this country get along
Amen
