God Hedges Me

God hedges me around His victory* Protecting my soul with holy presence Apart from Him causes faith-injury Wounding spirit to seek healing incense Midst vain goals, devoid of stewardship-sense. Inside the Lord’s fence of good guardianship Buttressed against doubt-unbelief’s hardship I’m within His biblical enclosure For faithful service and glorious worship Despite work rigor’s persistence-pressure.
*1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. June 24, 2019
