God Has Given Me Time To Serve Him

God Has Given Me Time to Serve Him!

There's a lot to do in life, 
but little time to do it!
There's been goals in life, but I blew it!

I think about what God has offered 
and what he's given!
I haven't served him with the days I'm livin'!

He gave to me parents and food on the table!
He's given me the ability to work and to be able!

As I look back on the time that I've enjoyed.
I think about the time I was unemployed!

They were times of leaning on God and his love!
I asked for his protection 
and blessings from above!

With the remaining time that I have on earth...
I'm going to ask the Holy Spirit,
 to give me a new birth.

A new birth to be the kind of person
HE wants me to be!
I want to ask for him to have his will,
 being done in me!

I want to serve Jesus, the rest
of my remaining days!
To read and study his word
 and do what it says!

I want my time with Jesus,
 to be time well spent!
I seek to do his will for me
and to be content!

Thank you my Lord for listening
 to what I have to say!
Please come Lord Jesus and
bless my time today!
