God Gave
Come October and things start to change,
In the natural, and spiritual range.
Life too is full of changes and seasons,
Do not loose joy - there are good reasons.
A cheerful heart is good like a medicine,
We are called to enjoy life’s regimen.
People are in our lives for a reason,
Some lifelong but others for a season.
Some people will not walk with you for your Now,
But you can be important for others – let God show how.
Prayerfully and divinely connect,
For there is the key to our future, direct.
Keep fervent in love for one another,
For you cannot go wrong - brother and sister.
With loving and investing in people,
You only build a life so strong, not feeble.
For God is love and God so loved the world,
That He gave His Son - His only begotten One!
