God Bless the Co-Workers
Like children, they gather in groups;
protecting themselves from others.
Yet, they are the attackers, the villains,
those with blackened souls, or none at all.
They claim to be professionals; masters of
their domain, businessmen, future CEOs.
But, the truth is, without moral guidance
their future is hollow; may flourish in show
but filled with emptiness and later, regrets.
May God bless them, for they will endure
the suffering bestowed upon the merciless.
May we all pray for them, for we
are the ones with the riches to be shared.
May they tumble without injury, for
when they do fall, we care enough to help.
For we are the blessed, the loyal workers.
We adhere to those rules engraved on stone,
rather then theirs; penned in ink.
