God Bless America
Thoughts of Miracle Man
July 4th 2023
Our borders are now open for all who would come,
crime is rampant, and guns possess our streets.
Trafficking of drugs is the chosen field of some,
each day our country seems to face new defeats.
Mass shootings have become a near weekly thing,
as summer heats up gun violence will heighten.
In quietness I ponder what tomorrow will bring,
and I wait for some news that might enlighten.
Our decency and morals have been cast aside,
none can escape the things that socialism brings.
I believe that our country is on a downward slide,
I pray for our country while freedom still rings.
