GOD AND MAN

Tonight, when the sun retires And you're left alone with thought I want you to ponder Why does God, who made man in His image Choose to remain a shadow While man The one He crowned with glory, Decides who eats, who drinks, who dies? Sometimes I wonder Is God afraid of what He made? Has man found a way To hold Him hostage with his cruelty? Maybe God is just another name For power that watches and waits Maybe He, too Takes comfort in silence Even in war Even in pain.
